Chicago Cycling Club November meeting

Our next meeting on Tuesday 11/12 will feature a presentation and Q&A by John Greenfield and Steven Vance about their experiences in covering bicycling and sustainable transportation issues. They currently write for Streetsblog Chicago and other publications. 

It's happening at REI's upstairs community room, 1466 N. Halsted.  There will be social time from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.  The meeting and presentation will start at 7:00.

Chicago Cycling Club meeting - bikes and travel

Please join us for our next club meeting on Tuesday February 12.  Social time starts at 6:30, and our presentation starts at 7:00 p.m. Our topic is a panel presentation/discussion on bikes and travel. Would you like to learn a bit about what's it's like to take a foreign bike tour, explore a city using bike share or take your bike on Amtrak trip? Come and find out.  You'll find us in the upstairs community room at REI, 1466 N. Halsted (just south of the North/Clybourn red line stop).

Anyone is welcome to attend.

our August meeting is a movie night!

CCC meeting on 6/12

Our next meeting is a social night.  This month's gathering is at Lee Wing Wah in Chinatown.  Their food isn't fancy.  They make delicious use of fresh ingredients - a healthier take than your average Chinatown restaurant.  It's BYO with a minimal corkage fee, so you're welcome to bring your own wine or beer if you wish.

Whether you're a member or just thinking about it, you're welcome to come.  Please respond on the Chainlink event listing to let us know if you're coming.  We need to know so there's enough room for our group.

Look for us on Tuesday 7/10 from 7:00 - 8:45 p.m. at Lee Wing Wah. 

CCC meeting on 5/8

As we usually do in odd-numbered months, we're having a social night starting at 7:00 p.m.  We're trying out a new place: Northdown Cafe, 3244 N. Lincoln.  They've got dishes for vegetarians, carnivores and vegans and quite a beer list - wow! 

Whether you're a member or just thinking about it, you're welcome to come.  If you're taking the train and not riding your bike, it's a short walk south from the CTA brown line at Paulina.

CCC meeting tonight

Please join us for our monthly meeting tonight 4/10 at Kozy's.  Jim Kreps will be a doing a tech tips demonstration on fixing a flat tire and other useful topics.  You don't need to bring your bike, just yourself.
